Right now, our students are following a series of online training courses regarding the use of CAE software developed by Altair Engineering.
But who is Altair, and what does it do?
Altair Engineering is a multinational software house that offers a wide range of products including CAE software (computer aided engineering), product design and data analytics. In particular, the software CAE, useful for our projects, include the Hypermesh pre-processor and the Hyperworks simulation solution: these tools, interfacing with each other and with the FEA (Optistruct) and CFD (Acusolve) solvers developed by Altair, allow us to simulate the different aspects of projects and obtain information.
