First of all, one of the most important phases of projecting aircrafts is the numerical simulation of its behaviour.Consequently, this one gives an important feedback on the quality of the choices made and leads the designer in the next steps.

In this regard, we are working on the creation of a flight simulator for the purpose of: obtain preliminary validations of the flight characteristics of aeromodels; evaluate the robustness and reliability of the auto-pilot for the RA project and future ones; prepare pilots to deal with the most extreme flight conditions.

As a result, the simulator is based on differential equation system that manage flight dynamics. So, these are implemented on a block diagram on the Matlab Simulink platform that, in addition to offer a development environment, gives an ergonomic results visualization interface that allows immediate interpretation of data.
